Drawing is a tool… 

…and my pleasure in it is more than my talent. But that is not decisive.
Beyond mere viewing drawing is a way to get a better grasp of things.
It serves to me as a base, as preparatory work or as a repository of the unfinished.
But mostly it is the first step that generates further ideas.
